Belval - Location - Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is known as one of the most famous ski resorts in the French
Alps. It developed an exceptional skiing area through a wide range of
slopes, from blue to black level. It constantly modernized ski equipment,
whilst caring for the site preservation. It welcomes every winter over 300
000 tourists, most of them European foreigners, mostly English visitors.

Val d'Isère is considered as one of the most beautiful ski resorts of the French Alps, due its many facilities and the quality of its accomodations.
Kingdom of "skiing and snowboarding", Val d'Isère and its "Espace
Killy" offers 11.000 hectares of skiing area of which
10.000 are off-piste and 1.000 are slopes ranging from blue
to black levels of difficulty... to discover without moderation
! With 140 slopes over 300 km of total length,and 99 ski lifts,
the "Espace Killy" offers runs for everybody.
Less than 5 minutes to reach the top of the slopes, then you are free to choose your ski area according to your level or to your mood : shy beginner, olympic champion, ski or snowboard, off-piste zone or regular slope... you will enjoy the snow, 6 to 10 meters high, we get every year in Val d'Isere, from the end of November to the beginning of May...
In the International Top 50 Ski Resorts, Val d'Isère
has been named the 'Greatest skiing area in Europe, if not the
world'. Urbanistic extension is limited since the station is
located in a narrow valley. High architectural standards and
strong requirements for environment preservation preserve the
charm of the resort.
Linked with the resort of Tignes, Val d'Isère offers an even wider skiing domain. Val d'Isère high altitude (ranging from 1 850 m to 3 400 m) allows an excellent snow all along the winter season.
